Through Transport for London funding as a 'flagship area scheme', REAL were commissioned to produce holistic urban design proposals to reinstate Elmfield Road as a vital and vibrant piece of the town centre. Transit facilities, streetscape improvements, building development opportunities and a public art strategy were key proposals.
