The Orchard at Apple Tree Farm, Crawley was voted 'Best Development in Sussex' in the prestigious Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2007. REAL were originally appointed by Moat Housing Group to prepare a masterplan and planning application, and were retained to prepare a detailed design for 176 residential dwellings.

Developed by Higgins Homes the award-winning site provides a range of dwelling sizes and tenures, including two, three and four bedroom family houses, and one and two bedroom flats to meet local housing need. The scheme provides 50% affordable dwellings including full rental and shared equity/ownership tenancies. REAL designed house types to create street scenes that completely integrate affordable housing and market housing with no perceptible differences in appearance.
